Playing golf at night on an unlighted course may sound foolhardy, but in actuality, it’s one of Tulsa’s most fun events.

Golfers looking for a unique nighttime experience can now sign up for the 16th Annual TARC Shot in the Dark Golf Tournament. This one-of-a-kind golf tournament where players use glow-in-the-dark golf balls is held each year to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Guided by glowing tee markers, golfers will tee off in teams of four at the 9 p.m. shotgun start. All holes are reset to par three and the golfers navigate the course playing nine holes.

Since 1996, the Shot in the Dark tournament has raised more than $250,000 to support TARC programs.

Entry fees are $100 for individual players and $300 for a foursome.

Sponsorships also are available for companies and other organizations at several different levels:
